Social media training

Social media: 'social' means connection with people and 'media' means a form of communication that reaches people.  Therefore, social media is the ability to connect to others on a wide scale.  The idea of social media is that you can share and receive news, images, videos, stories, messages and products from those who are close to you, acquaintances or those you do not yet know!

There are various media platforms such as: facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest, linkedin, What's App, Tumblr, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit etc 

Each has a slightly different focus which is why some use / follow a particular social media platform.  The best way to work out which are appropriate to you is to find out which friends / family use and why, research all of them and use the free functions of those that interest you to ensure you have made the right choice.  If you use social media personally and for business, remember your personal and professional social media choices may be different depending on how you want the platforms to work for you.

There is plenty of choice relating to the platform(s) you may wish to use.
